UPDATE 3/16/2021

Effective March 17, 2021 Fair Oaks is happy to welcome Friends and Family back to our community. Once we received the green light from Governor Wolf, we all discussed the fact that we were very concerned with individuals entering the community without any guidance or direction.  In the interest of keeping everyone safe and secure we have developed the following protocols.

FAIR OAKS THREE PHASES OF “RE-OPEN”

PHASE 1 – March 17th – Friends and Family are permitted to enter the building.

Visiting Hours at Fair Oaks are 8:30am – 9:30pm daily.

All visitors must stop at the security desk. The guard will:

  • ask you to read and respond to a screening questionnaire
  • check your temperature
  • request your signature in our guest book
  • ask you to put on a mask and sanitize your hands

At that time, you will be permitted to enter the building to go directly to your loved one’s room or apartment. Mask wearing and distancing precautions are expected at all times. Please use common sense as to the number of visitors in the room at one time. Please try to limit the exposure of your family member. Large gatherings in the apartment are not permitted. Once the visit is concluded the visitor(s) must exit the building. At this time, we are not permitting visitors to wander the halls, enter activity rooms, enter the health services station, enter apartments of someone other than their own family member, or dine in the main dining room.

Due to the frail nature of the residents that resident in Oak Hall coupled with the fact that we have shared rooms, we are not permitted to allow family visitation while another family is in the room. Therefore:

OAK HALL VISITATIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. PLEASE EMAIL ALEX TO SCHEDULE A VISIT.

PHASE 2 – April 19th – Friends and Family are permitted in all areas of the building with the exception of the main dining room. You may visit other residents and attend in house activities with your loved one. Appointments for Oak Hall visits will no longer be needed. Outside entertainers are invited back to the building to perform. Mask wearing and distancing precautions are expected at all times.

PHASE 3 – May 3rd – Friends and Family are permitted full access to all areas of the community including the main dining room. When joining your loved one for dining, we ask the you call for a reservation a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Mask wearing and distancing precautions will be reassessed and published for this phase at a later date once we have new guidelines from the appropriate agencies.

DUE TO THE VOLITAL NATURE OF THE PANDEMIC, ALL ITEMS ABOVE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR REVISION AT ANY TIME.
